Conditions of Competition

I. Rules– All play shall be according to the Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA and local rules of the host club.

II. Eligibility – All PGAP active members are eligible to play in this tournament. Amateurs must present NGAP WHS handicap index as of August 15, 2024.

III. Prize Money – P500,000 distributed to the top 20 teams with a trophy for the champion

***Cash prizes will be distributed to all winners during the awarding ceremony; presence is required.

IV. Starting Time – 5:30 am Registration

6:30 am Ceremonial ball

7:00 am SHOTGUN

V. Entry Fee – P 10,000 per team includes Green Fee & meals during awarding

VI. Format – two-day, 36-hole stroke play competitions with 18 holes played daily.

**The Top three women and 30 men's professionals, including those competing abroad, are considered in the top 30. All MUST be partners with an index of 6 or higher handicap amateur.

VII. Practice round—Official practice rounds are August 27 and 28 (Tuesday / Wednesday) between 8:00 and 9:24 am and 12:30 and 1:30 pm. All practice rounds should be coordinated three days before the intended game so that tee times will be assisted. NO TEE TIME ASSIGNED, NO TEE OFF. Please call Mr Allan Sorreda (Forest Hills Golf Operations Manager) at 0917-317-2346 for bookings.

• Green Fee and Insurance at P1,850 for Amateurs and FREE for PROs, but you need to pay P50 Insurance. PGAP and GAB IDs are required.

• Golf Cart – P800.00 sharing

VIII. Designated Tee Mount

• Gold Tee - Men's Professional 59 years old and below

• Blue Tee - Men's Senior Professional 60 years old and above

Amateur 54 years old and below

• White Tee - Ladies Professional

Amateur 55 years old and above

• Red Tee - Ladies Amateur

**A player's scorecard is considered submitted when it is dropped into the scorecard drop box, and the player leaves the designated area.

IX. Distance Measuring Device – use of a range finder is allowed.

X. Pace of Play—In the absence of mitigating circumstances, if a group is observed to be "OUT of Position" and has not kept pace with the group in front of them (a clear hole) or, in the case of the first match, taken an unacceptable amount of time to play a specified number of holes, then the group may be timed without warning.

i. Any player who exceeds 60 seconds when it is his/her turn to play shall have a "bad time", and the following penalties shall apply:

a. One Bad Time Warning from the official
b. Two Bad Time One stroke penalty
c. Three Bad Time Another warning
d. Four Bad Time Two stroke penalty
e. Five Bad Time Final warning
f. Six Bad Time Disqualification

ii. The official doing the timing will be the sole judge of the players' time to play.

iii. Groups that encounter problems with the Rules of Golf or have to search for a ball may allow the following match to play through. Suppose a player doubts the procedure and no rules are immediately available to save time. A player may invoke Rule 3-3 and explicitly discuss the matter with the Tournament Committee after the round.

XI. TIES– in the event of a tie, a playoff will be conducted to determine the champion. The playoff will be on the 18th hole, with up to three attempts. If it remains tied after these three attempts, the playoff will move to the 9th hole, again with up to three attempts.

XII. Transportation – A golf cart is mandatory

XIII. Caddies– Personal/Private caddies are NOT allowed.
